Like any restoration audio software it takes some tweaking re vinyl or tape to file but the results are well worth it I am using a Mac with usb input and a FireWire out put. Keeping your recording level as close to the red ceilings and use the dynamics and equalizer to add presence and punch to old recordings I use it for Mid Century Modern recordings of the 50 and 60s Highly recommend this Norwegian Tech product.
It does not seem to work with Windows 10. Apparently records as one can see the wave functions - but you can't hear anything and you can't assign the recording. Frustrating!
My PCs (W7,Vista,XP) can't recognize Silvercrest 1000 A3 after plugging into USB. I have searched drivers on the net but without any success. It writes - USB device is not recognized and I can't record from tapes using Audio Lava.
Using Audiolava for the first time. When I go to the "output" tab and it asks you where you want to save it; name; file type etc, I fill all that in. But when I click "next", nothing happens. Please help.
I have Audio Lava provided with Silvercrest SKD 1000 A2.
When I try to play an uploaded or captured file audio lava freezes and I have to close it down.
Any ideas?
